Japan-China Ceramics Exchange, Jian kiln, Fujian. 現代の福建省建窯の作家来日、日中陶磁器文化交流会と日本の急須。

The Japan-China Ceramics Cultural Exchange was held on May 24, 2019 at the Tokyo Multicultural Center. Jianzhan Tenmoku tea bowl artists from Fujian, China, and a Japanese ceramic artists participated. They and Shiha Tea & Comfort were on stage together.

2019年5月24日に東京多元文化会館にて日中陶磁器文化交流会が開催されました。中国福建省建窯の建盏作家さんと日本の陶芸作家さん方です。Shiha Tea & Comfort も出品者としてステージへ呼ばれました。

There were many tea ware of Tenmoku ceramic artists exhibited on the day. Shiha Tea & Comfort exhibited Japanese teapots which is popular among Chinese tea lovers. 日中の天目作家さんの作品を中心にした展示です。

The Consul General of the Embassy of China in Japan also attended the forum. I had a talk with Mr. Zhan on the day before the event. I knew that he loves pottery, and it was good time to talk with him in Japanese. 中国駐日本大使館総領事詹孔朝氏もご出席されました。詹氏とは開催前日にお話をさせていただき、陶磁器がお好きとのことを知り、また日本語で、温かく接して頂いて、サプライズで嬉しい時間になりました。

作家の李細妹さんの茶碗は2017年オークションで2600万元で落札されたとの話を聞きました。李細妹さんがその時のお話や、なぜ自分が陶芸を始めたかなどをスピーチで話してくださり、素朴で熱意あるお人柄がとても印象に残りました。（若い頃は果物を売っていたとか）

Shiha Tea ＆ Comfortからは中国で人気が高い日本の作家さんの急須を出品しました。

Shiha Tea & Comfort displayed the teapots on the same table as Mr. Takeshi Furukawa’s works who is a Tenmoku ceramic artist in Kyoto. Our teapot selections are Yoshikawa Kodo, Katayama Hakusan, Yamada Sout from Tokoname, Kiko Ando from Bizen. 京都の天目作家である古川剛さんと同じテーブルに急須を展示させて頂きました。吉川壺堂さん、片山白山さん、山田想さんの急須など常滑焼を中心に安藤騎虎さんの備前焼急須なども出品です。

From China, a large number of artists from Jian Kiln, Fujian attended, beautiful Tenmoku tea bowls were displayed, more than 150 works were seen . All were beautiful and I was so impressed. 中国側からは福建省建窯の建盏の作家さんが多数出席、美しく雅な作品が並びました。合計150点以上の作品はどれも美しく感動しました。

現在中国では、建盏でプーアル茶、岩茶、白茶など、茶の色と器の模様とを楽しみがらお茶をいただく方がたくさんです。お茶を美味しくいただくための器、器を楽しむためのお茶など双方向から、またコレクションとしての器を収集する方、器となると熱いお話が聞けます。

お値段は様々でしたが、小さいものは1万円ほどから購入出来ました。

Tenmoku artists in Japan and China had a hot and deep discussion, praised for their works and exchanged opinions on the differences of “beauty” between Japanese and Chinese . Although I interpreted part of conversation, Wechat translation function helped them to communicate well. No need to speak foreign language to understand each other, typing some simple words in Wechat was just fine, those professionals have many in common in technical and artistic matter.

福建省芸術大師，建盏焼制技芸非物質文化遺産代表性伝承人であり、彩金建盏創始者の裴春元さんは、古川剛さんの金珠天目茶盌を手に「素晴らしい」と称賛されていました。

The works of Watanabe Kunio. Beautiful and pretty tea cans, incense cases and cups. I was so attracted. Cozy tea time comes to mind. 渡辺国夫さんの作品です。素敵な大人の茶筒、香合、カップ。惹きつけられました。優雅で楽しいお茶の時間が目に浮かびます。

The left side of the picture below is the work of Sato Norikatsu . They give modern impression but at the same time it reminds me of beauty of Japanese tradition from several hundred years ago. Platinum leaf and silver leaf change color as time passes, it may give Wabi Sabi impression in later years . 下の写真の左側は佐藤典克さんの作品。プラチナ箔、銀箔を使いモダンな印象ですが、ひとつひとつをみると日本の伝統の美を感じます。この箔は時間の経過で色が変わるとのこと。変化が楽しみです。

Koransha’s hand-painted tea pots, vases and bowls. They are noble. I admire the beauty of Koransha’s white porcelain and the beauty of blue. The Consul General of the Embassy of China also enjoyed the works, and watching and feeling them long time. 香蘭社さんの手描きの茶器、花器、器。さすがの気品です。香蘭社さんの白磁の美しさと青の美には目を見張ります。
