======About Irika======
Green tea with Hybrid heating (pan-firing +steaming) to halt oxidation. Due to the pan-fried, the tea has special toasted aroma + fresh green aroma, that is make it special of this tea . (It is not roasted-greentea, which is roasted after completion of green tea making process)
Processed with Hybrid heating machine, which is newly introduced in Japanese tea industry. Enjoy unique aroma and harmonious taste which is made from well-cared and well-controlled tea garden.
Brewing Tip
This tea works well with the standard sencha brewing method at 75–80°C (167°F).
It offers a rich aroma even with a short infusion time of 30–45 seconds.
The leaves retain their flavor through the third steep.
For the best results, keep the first brew light (short) to achieve three ideal infusions.
Reference Brewing Method (Adjust to your preference)
This is a one of the brewing way. Try and find the best way for you.
Tea leaves: 3g
Water: 70ml
- First brew – 75–80°C, pour after 30 seconds, finish within 45 seconds.
- Second brew – 95–100°C, pour immediately (0 seconds).
- Third brew – 95–100°C, pour after 20 seconds or longer.
- Keeping the first brew light (short) makes it easier to achieve a good second and third infusion.
- A long infusion time results in bitterness.
- Finding the best balance of aroma and taste is the key.
